I found myself retelling the story of how I ended up with the background for my header on the website, and so I thought it would be good to give the artist some credit! When my daughter was 3, she'd sit on the floor behind me while I worked and she would play with crayons, watercolor, and cut paper. While I was busy working she just did her own thing. Later as I was looking through the destruction of paint, paper and art supplies I found this:
The colors in it were beautiful, the way the greens pushed the blues away, and that thick area of bronze, green and teal. I saved it for a while in a folder, then scanned it so I'd always have it. because I knew I'd have use for it some day! 5 years later I finally did. |
