Ordering a commissioned painting from me is simple!

I have standard sizes and pricing listed here but I'm more than happy to work with you if you have a unique size or request, just email me and we can discuss the options.

My paintings are on Arches 140lb watercolor paper (unless we decide on something else) and I use professional grade watercolors with the  highest rating of lightfastness (meaning they won't fade over time).  Although I do use a high grade of paint, watercolors should NEVER be hung in direct sunlight.

When you're ready to order, email me with your photograph(s).  I will reply to you with further questions on your photo and discuss any details. Once payment is received I will begin.

A painting usually takes 10-14 days (not including shipping time) depending on the amount of commissions I am working on (I get very busy in Oct/Nov). I will give you a time frame before accepting payment. (I accept checks or paypal)  Your painting comes, matted with acid free/archival matting, backed,  and  sealed in protective plastic, ready to frame. I will send it out as soon as its complete. There is no additional charge for shipping.

House Portraits

Since my painting will be done using your photo, please make sure your photo is as sharp as possible and important features are clear. You may want to provide additional close ups of details on your home. I can also remove unwanted tree branches, telephone poles etc. I can also adjust the seasons and add leaves on the trees. I can add dogs on the porch and cats in the window, just let me know! Some helpful ideas to obtain more photos include looking up the address on google maps, street view provides additional views of the home that are in other seasons or different angles. Realtor listings  will also contain some additional photos.

Pet Portraits

Pets have personality! The best results come from the best photos. Include a photo of the pose you'd like the painting done from, and additional photos for details. Sometimes fur will look different in daylight vs with a flash so let me know what the most accurate color is. After I've seen your photos we will discuss background options.
